Operation Smile Annual Charity Event

Founded in 1982, Operation Smile is a charity providing free surgical treatment for children and young adults, in over 51 countries. The charity has helped more than 140,000 boys and girls lead happier lives as a result of their surgery.

Luminous is proud to be a part of the team that works with the international charity Operation Smile to produce an outstanding evening of fun, frivolity and, most importantly fundraising.

Each year Luminous offers their expertise to create a themed event for Operation Smile guests. The evening is about having fun but also to build awareness and funds for the charity. The Luminous team come up with a creative concept, source venues, provide production management, negotiate and liaise with entertainment and on the day of the event the team is there in force for full on site management and show calling.

Previous themes for the event have been The Supper Club and The Afterglow Party which have encouraged guests to let their hair down in a relaxed and party atmosphere, attend in fancy dress, network with friends and raise money for Operation Smile. A staggering HK$2.6million was raised for Operation Smile just in one night The Afterglow Part in December 2009!
