Smile For A Child Supper Club

Operation Smile Smile for a Child Supper Club. 13th May 2005. Audience of 490 patrons.

Founded in 1982, Operation Smile is a charity providing surgical treatments for children and young adults, already completing 98,000 operations in 30 countries.

On Saturday 13th May, Luminous was proud to be a part of the team that worked with the international charity Operation Smile to produce an outstanding evening of fun, frivolity and, most importantly, fundraising.

The evening began with privately hosted dinners, with 28 generous hosts opening their homes and donating the dinners. The 490 guests were then picked up by bus and taken to a mystery party location. The destination, Shaw Studios, was stunningly styled as a tribute to the 1970’s. The glittering evening featured entertainment such as roller skaters, dancers and ABBA tribute band, Bjorn Again. Disco!

Over $2 million dollars was raised for Operation Smile, all in one night!
