The most anticipated event of 2006 took place on the 22nd September; the Cathay Pacific 60th Anniversary Gala Celebration.
Over 3000 VIP’s, guests and media descended on Sha Tin racecourse for an incredible, star studded show. With VIP’s such as the Chief Executive of HKSAR, The Honourable Donald Tsang in attendance, a performance by beloved Hong Kong star Frances Yip and stunning displays from international artists and performers it was truly a night ‘On Diamond Wings’.
After an extensive bidding process, Luminous beat out the competition with a well targeted theme ‘On Diamond Wings’, transforming the Parade Ring into the draped and glittering, ‘Diamond Wings Arena’.
There from the start as Cathay Pacific’s selected production partner, Luminous crafted a highly creative and technical programme and co-ordinated all event elements such as RSVP, call centre management, security, guest flow, venue management, technical support, set & environment, artist liaison as well the many other factors involved in producing a large scale event.
Co-ordinating over 100 performers, 300 crew and Cathay Pacific staff, as well as multiple partners and service providers, a night of great theatre and celebration was created.
