Monique redefines versatility. Her vast experience and enormous knowledge base make her desk at Luminous the first stop for anyone with a question. Although Monique has risen to the top of the event business, nobody works harder or is more dedicated. She is a take-charge leader, motivating the Luminous team with her gentle strength, confident abilities, and serious smarts.
Monique excels at everything she does – and she does it all. She has led projects across Asia, from investor conferences and gala dinners to internal and customer events for major corporations. Her work spans the financial, telecommunications, and FMCG sectors and includes companies and organizations like: Clinton Global Initiative; CLSA; The Royal Bank of Scotland; Venetian Macau Resort Hotel; PricewaterhouseCoopers; Goldman Sachs; Reuters; CLP Power; ExxonMobil; Home Depot; IBM; adidas; ITU Telecom; Louis Vuitton; HSBC Premier; and Nortel.
Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, it is no mystery why Monique is a great communicator who blends effortlessly between cultures. As Director of Production, she has ultimate responsibility for internal and external vendor resource management. With her exceptional capability for logistics, Monique ensures that all running systems and processes are closely monitored. Using strong management skills and multi-tasking abilities, she oversees 15 producers and acts as both mentor and role-model while guiding the production team’s efforts. Monique’s confident and detail-oriented leadership guarantees the highest standards for scheduling and delivery of all production elements.
Monique’s strong design background has been a great asset to Luminous, not only in creating proposals but also in scheduling the 3-D design and art departments – ensuring that all creative deliverable deadlines are met on each project. Before joining Luminous, she worked at Jack Morton Worldwide in Hong Kong and as an Art Director for Grey Worldwide advertising agency in New York. Monique has impeccable credentials with a BA in Economics and International Relations from Cornell University and a degree in Communications Design from the renowned Parsons School of Design.
